Dr Govindappa Nallakrishnan (Dr GN), revered in recent times as the "Grand Old Man of Asia Engineering," had a distinct mission and vision for Asia (Chennai) Engineering. Dr GN's passion and enthusiasm were infectious and left an indelible impression on employees and clients. Until his last days, he actively oversaw the progress of all projects and rigorously reviewed budgets, quality, and timelines. Team Asia (Chennai) Engineering remains focused on his guiding vision and will strive to keep up with the high standards Dr GN has set for us.

Dr GN's pioneering spirit and courage in going to the USA to attend the University of Illinois in the early1950s was only an indicator of the great things that would follow. Following his return to India, he built many incredibly successful businesses. He was blessed with a photographic memory of places, people, and events and could recollect even immaculate details decades later.
Dr GN was very committed to the cause of the Eye Treatment of the downtrodden and worked relentlessly to ensure world-class eye treatment is available to all.
